But as Johnson marvels at the hospital’s beauty, his heart is heavy. He’s there for Kareem, one of Franklin’s beloved quadruplets, who fell seriously ill after their trip to Yakutia, the coldest village in the world.

When Johnson sits down with the doctor, the mood turns somber. The doctor explains that Kareem developed a rare infection, triggered by dormant bacteria found in extreme Arctic-like climates. Though the weather wasn’t freezing during their stay in Yakutia, the exposure left a lasting effect — and now, Kareem’s young body is fighting for survival.
