Kid Franklin’s Dad Broke His Heart

About this video

Kid Franklin’s Life Will Never Be the Same After This GTA 5 Kid Franklin Real Life Mod S1 EP23

In Episode 23 of the Kid Franklin Real Life Mod, the story picks up right where the last emotional cliffhanger ended. Franklin arrives at Star Island with Jasmine, Monster Boy, and Jasmine’s mom — and finally stands face to face with both of his parents for the very first time. This moment becomes one of the most powerful scenes in the entire series.

As Franklin steps closer, he listens silently while his mom and dad reveal their painful past — the heartbreak, the trauma, the addiction, the broken promises, and the dangerous decisions that tore their family apart. For the first time in his life, Franklin finally hears the truth he spent years searching for.

Even though Franklin has only been homeless for a couple of weeks, those days have changed everything about him. From sleeping under bridges to surviving with Monster Boy to finding his mom, his pain has grown faster than any 10-year-old should ever experience. And now, hearing his parents admit their mistakes hits Franklin harder than anything before.

After listening for a while, Kid Franklin finally speaks up. His voice shakes as he asks the questions that have lived inside his heart for years:

“Why did you leave me?” “Did you ever think about me?” “Did you want me?” “Why didn’t you come back?”
